CLINICAL STUDY FOR COLD SORES (HERPES LABIALIS) MEDICATION

Volunteers are needed to participate in a clinical research trial of an oral antiviral medication. This study will assess safety, tolerability, and response (in adolescents) to a medication used to treat Cold Sores (Herpes Labialis).

Participants must be:

Adolescents, male or female, 12 to <18 years
In general good health w/ a history typical for recurrent Herpes Labialis outbreaks
Have active recurrent cold sores (Herpes Labialis) outbreaks

If your child qualifies, your child will come to the clinic for two visits, and will receive:

Physical exam
Blood tests
Travel compensation to parents/guardians
